Meal subscriptions?

Have a Nice Day is now offering a pre-made meal subscription service each week.

We deliver fresh, never frozen meals to your home or office on Sundays or Mondays. By providing great tasting meals and convenience, we do all the work for you. You can skip the dishes for less.

All of our meals are prepared and cooked by our chefs and delivered fresh.

Who are the weekly chefs?

Our pre-made meal subscription service is unique. Each week, we offer a new menu handcrafted by Winnipeg's best culinary experts. Find out who created this week's menu.

Where are you located?

625 Portage Avenue in the Good Will Social Club where the Have a Nice Day restaurant kitchen is located.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver within Winnipeg, MB. We also deliver to organizations and offer free drop-off points for companies with a minimum of ten orders.

If you would like to be a drop-off point, please contact us at admin@haveanicedayeats.com for more info. Each delivery includes your five meals for the week.

What types of plans do you offer?

We have plans for two different diets - vegan, and omnivore (meat and vegetables). Vegan options are $12.99, and omnivore options are $9.99. 

Each plan can include 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 14, 15, 16, or 21 meals. Email us at admin@haveanicedayeats.com to let us know if you'd like to arrange a number of meals not offered on our website.

Can I subscribe to vegan and non-vegan meals at the same time?

If you'd like to receive both vegan and non-vegan meals, simply create two separate subscriptions. You'll receive both subscriptions at the same time each week, but they will be billed separately (as our vegan meals are priced differently from our non-vegan meals).

How do I stop receiving plans?

Go to your account and click the “Meal Subscriptions” button. Under "Your Subscriptions", click the "Manage" dropdown menu for the subscription you'd like to edit, and choose the "Cancel My Subscription" option.

How long does a subscription last?

Once you sign up for our weekly plan, you will regularly receive deliveries from us each week, unless you choose to cancel.

Is there anything you need from me?

Each week, we need 48 hours notice before your next delivery to update your menu. We will send you an email to remind you to update your menu choices. If you don't, you will receive our pre-planned meals based on your protein preferences.

You are free to go in to your account and change the number of meals, payment information, pause or skip weeks all in your account management before 12 a.m. each Saturday.

You can also change your delivery day, address, billing info in the “My Account” section.

How do I stop receiving meals?

When you sign up for Have a Nice Day meal plans, you will be charged on Thursday each week and have food delivered by default—unless you choose to cancel or skip a week.

If you want to stop receiving meals from us you can:

  • Skip a week in your subscription by going to your account and clicking "Meal Subscription". In the "Manage" drop down menu for the subscription you are editing, choose "Upcoming Subscriptions," and click "Skip Shipment" for each shipment you would not like to receive.
  • You can also cancel your subscription by choosing the "Cancel My Subscription" option under the "Manage" dropdown for the subscription you would like to cancel. Don't worry, you can always reactivate it in the future.

We do not enforce that subscribers remain on our service for a certain number of weeks or amount of orders. But please keep in mind that:

  • You cannot skip or cancel your first delivery once it is in our system.
  • Skipping a week or cancelling will not affect the orders that you were already charged for since at that point, those orders have already entered into our production.

When can I expect my meals?

We deliver our meals every Sunday, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., or on Mondays to your office between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

If your package does not show up on your expected delivery date, please contact us immediately the following day.

It is possible that a meal could be delayed due to weather or traffic, although this is rare. We will always try to get your food to you as quickly as possible because we know you can't wait to eat.

Can I change my delivery date?

Please contact us to update your delivery date preference.

Can I customize my meals?

You can choose from our selection of meal options, but the ingredients for each individual option can't be altered.

What if I have allergies?

If your meals require special preparation due to allergies, please ensure you have included your allergy information while registering your Have A Nice Day account.

If you've registered without including allergy information, or if you're not sure whether you included it at the time of registration, please email us at admin@haveanicedayeats.com.

Do I need to be home to receive my meals?

For now, yes.

Please note that you can indicate special requests like a buzz code, or a request to leave the meals around the back in a cooler if you really aren’t able to make it.

How does payment work?

We accept all major credit cards.

We are a weekly subscription service, so we will charge your card initially and each week thereafter. It might take two or three business days to show up on your card depending on who your carrier is.

Your card will be charged weekly on Thursdays.

How much does shipping cost?

Right now, we are only shipping within Winnipeg. Each delivery is $7.

How do I heat up my meals?

Our meals are designed to be heated in the microwave and ready within three minutes.

Can I freeze my meals?

Yes, each meal comes in a freezer safe container. However, our meals are always better fresh, and not from frozen.
